David and Nancy Brown have been farming in the Newberg/St Paul area since 1965. We have been certified organic since 1991 with over 80 acres certified now. A wide variety of veggies are available from our farm about 10 months of the year.
We farmed for many years in Newberg between the Ford dealership and Yost's Nursery - the site of the new community hospital for the Newberg area. Our present farm, located in St Paul on the corner of French Prairie and McKay Roads, is just down the road from the place we first began farming.
We have worked with a variety of people over the last 30 years in the Community Garden. The Community Garden is for people who wish to pay a small membership fee and work in exchange for their produce.
