Canning Items

Community Garden canning items:

We wanted to clarify the canning items news that we sent a week or so ago. Please give us some specifics on what you want, like how much and when. We have started lists for each item and will call you when they are available, but it helps to know how much you want.

This is especially needed on tomatoes, which we have a lot of now. Do you only want romas, or will you take either? How many 20-22# boxes? We have 10 or 12 boxes on hand right now for the next people on the list. We are waiting to hear back from a couple people right now.

So email us or call on the phone with your requests. Tomatoes should last another couple of weeks at least. Broccoli and corn will be available for 2 or 3 weeks yet. On any other specialty item, just ask us when you are here, like several of you have for hot peppers, etc.

Keep in touch,

David & Nancy
